These 16 House Tokens hold the key to a coveted House Robe, a symbol of honor and achievement. The path to these tokens involves capturing 16 flying Daedalian Keys to open cabinets throughout Hogwarts’ halls. The Key in the Quad Courtyard is one of the trickier ones to find.
Hogwarts Legacy All House Tokens Locations
Once you arrive, turn right and take the spiral staircase (that's assembling itself before your eyes) down. Descend and continue downwards until you bump into the key on one of the landings, then follow it down. You'll need to time it just right to get the key in the slot. Wait for it to fly in the center, and when it's there, slap it.
Trailers and gameplay
Interact with the cabinet and slap the key when it hovers over the lock. These are not marked on the map and that’s why they can be particularly tricky to find. Always use Revelio (D-Pad Right) to mark the key and cabinet in blue color, this makes them much easier to spot. To unlock the house cabinets after chasing a key back to them (any key approached will automatically make its way to its cabinet), you will need to slap the key into the keyhole.
Daedalian Key 14
The key leads to a cabinet on the opposite side of the library in the back corner. Follow it, and it'll head up the stairs to the left of the dragon to final House Cabinet. Follow the key and it will lead you back to the House Cabinet. When you see it make a left towards the clock room at the end of the long corridor lined with paintings. Near the clockwork with its moving keys, you'll find the key. You have found the first key that starts a quest of 15 more, for a total of 16 Daedalian Keys.
Once spotted, you'll have to chase them back to their cabinets and slap them into the keyholes to earn a house token. Once you've collected all 16 of the tokens, you can head back to your common room to open the house chest for a very special reward. This will take you up some stairs and along a path to the top of the Bell Tower. Follow this path up until you come to a wooden landing on the opposite side of the room from where you entered the locked door.
House Token No. 5 – (The Grand Staircase -> Quad Courtyard)
This has a unique design depending on your house, and it glows when you cast spells. Since it's in your collections and isn't a piece of gear, you'll have to change the appearance of your gear in order to wear it. Head back to Nellie Oggspire afterward to report your findings and complete the quest.

When you approach it, it will fly up the stairs to the cabinet, which is at the top of the North Hall staircase, just outside the Music Classroom. You can also reach this area by using the Hospital Wing fast travel point, then heading down the wooden scaffolding where the large clock gears are. Great Hall (Fireplace) - The key is beside the fireplace to your left. It will fly to the cabinet in the small nook off to the side of the Floo Flames. Transfiguration Classroom (Cellar) - From the dragon statue, go through the passageway until you see the cellars. Follow the key all the way to the basement with the cabinet.

On the floor directly beneath the Hospital Wing, you'll find the Daedalian Cabinet. Head southwest to the Clock Tower area, where the Daedalian Key is. The last key can be found near Daedalian Key 14's House Cabinet. Walk through the hallway where the last key was originally found. The key will take off down the stairs, turn left at the fountain and head towards the western wall.
Daedalian Key three: Central Hall
To do so, you’ll need to activate the minigame, and then wait. Eventually, the key will quickly fly across the cabinet and over the keyhole; you’ll need to slap it with / as it does. Faculty Tower (Staircase) - This requires the completion of The Caretaker's Lunar Lament, the main quest that rewards you with Alohomora. It's the only way you'll be able to unlock the Faculty Tower. From the fast travel point, enter the Faculty Tower and climb up the steps. The key is in front of a Symbol Door Puzzle, and it will fly to the cabinet below.
The key flys to the cabinet on the floor directly above it. The Daedalian Key is flying at the top of the staircase of the Entrance Hall of the Great Hall. It flies northeast, to the bottom of the staircase, where the cabinet is at. Travel to the Clock Tower Courtyard Floo Flame in The South Wing to find this key. Now that you've spawned in, you'll have to unlock the door on the left-hand side. After that, walk up the stairs and find the key on the second floor.
Keep going up until you find the key on the level below the puzzle door with the symbols set into the outer wall of the staircase. The key leads back down to the cabinet close to the same Floo Flame near where the other puzzle door is. It leads to the right up the stairs to a cabinet on the floor directly above. In Central Hall, go down the staircase north of the fountain and look left to find the Daedalian Key. The key will fly to the cabinet located below the staircase to the south of the fountain.
Once you’ve made your way up the flight of stairs, turn right, and you can find the Key under the stairs. After that, it will lead you back down the stairs to Central Hall, where you can find the House Cabinet. You can now collect your House Token in Hogwarts Legacy. North of Great Hall - Fast travel to the Great Hall, then turn around and head through the big double doors and then carry on through the next big gate in front of you.
The key will be on the lower floor of the library, in the aisle of shelves to the right of the fireplace on the southwest wall of the library. Once you get near it, it will fly down the grand staircase. Follow it down until you reach the hallway where an Arithmancy Door and Floo Flame are, leading to the House Points Trackers and the Grand Hall. The Cabinet will be to your right if you are heading toward the points trackers. The Key in the Great Hall is flying around near the fireplace on the east side of the room, near where several companion quests start.
